Southwestern University offers scholarship programs to deserving students with the aim of extending academic assistance to them and maintaining academic standard.
Academic Scholarship Program
There are six Academic Scholarship Programs of the university, namely: Don Matias H. Aznar Scholarship, Doña Anunciacion B. Aznar Scholarship (refer to Elementary and High School Student Handbook), University scholarship, College Scholarship, Scholarship for Secondary Valedictorians and Salutatorians, and Scholarship for Science High School Graduates.
1. Doña Anunciacion B. Aznar (for incoming first year high school)
Priviliges:
a) 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees
b) 50% discount on laboratory fees
Requirements:
a) Elementary Report Card with general average of 85% or higher
b) Certification for Good Moral Character from the Principal
c) Barangay clearance
d)Parent’s latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
e) Birth Certificate
2. Don Matias H. Aznar (for incoming freshmen)
Priviliges:
a) 100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees
b) 50% discount on laboratory fees
Requirements:
a) High School Report Card with general average of 85% or higher
b) Certification for Good Moral Character from the Principal
c) Barangay clearance
d)Parent’s latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
e) Birth Certificate
3. University
Priviliges:
a) 100% discount on tuition fees
Requirements:
a) must have an average grade of 1.3 or higher with no grade lower than 1.9 in all academic subjects and must carry the regular load per semester.
4. College
Priviliges:
a) 50% discount on tuition fees
Requirements:
a) must have an average grade of 1.3 or higher with no grade lower than 1.9 in all academic subjects and must carry the regular load per semester.
5. Academic Honors
a) Valedictorian
b) Salutatorian
c) 1st Honorable Mention
d) 2nd Honorable Mention
e) 3rd Honorable Mention

c) 60% discount on tuition fees
d) 55% discount on tuition fees
